| Good Job! (Many hunters never even get a shot at a deer but this young Lady was there at the right time. More young folks need to hunt and reduce the overpopulated deer herds. And by the way folks, my daughter didn't wear Ballet slippers but she did wear a cheerleader uniform at the same time she learned how to shoot her rifle. Sadly she could not use the rifle for hunting here in Md. but the training was good. | leter to a friend (Dear Patricia, I know I have came accosted to you in ways that have you confused. Knowing that you are illegal in the states really puts you in a bad place. Its about trust and integrity of the person. When you knowingly violate the law and don’t take responsible for your action. You give up any rights you have and don’t have any ground to stand on. Justifying that you are not the only one doing this and you pay taxis does not make it right. You have open a night mare that has no end , every thing you do in life from now on will be questioned. I am very sympathetic for you and other in your situation, but Americans are not responsible for what happens to you and the families that knowingly violated the law. | No hope. (I realize that there are pros to having the county take over our water and sewer systems. However, what happens to those residents who can't afford to hook up their homes.
A lot of us have water lines running from behind our homes. At the meeting at Annapolis High I felt there was a lot of vagueness as to how the county would handle this situation. In one breath we are being told that they will do what is necessary to hook up our homes, then they contradict this in written letters/plans.
If they are planning on changing the plan, to take construction to the meter with the homeowner responsible for hooking their homes to the meter- what the letter sent proceeding the meeting said, to actually hooking all the way each house, this will again change the dollar amount each homeowner has to pay. It is my understanding, and many others understanding, that the dollar amounts we received at the 10/28 meeting reflects only running lines to the meter. I would like to have this confirmed or negated by the county in writing prior to casting my vote.
Honestly though, it won't change the fact that
1-My family can not afford this plan
2-my kids will not be able to attend college if we have the additional expense
3-my family may very possibly have to move (but still we will be stuck with the amounts that don't transfer upon sale)
4-This could ruin us
I understand something has to be done, but this just won't work for many residents.
